Silica gel is probably the most common moisture absorbent gun owners use. Everyone I know used them for thier gun safes and I have always used them for gun safe and in ammo cans with ammo and other stuff. I get Desi packs from my dads work and they are advertised as absorbing 3 times as much moisture than the regualr silica gel.

My local sporting goods store has something called, "safe Dry".
The box is about 4"x4"x4" I will check the price on it today.
