lub and rust prevention
the best of the best stuff on the market and has been battle tested in vietnam and in the gulf wars used by the navy seals etc is EEZOX its a dry lub and the best rust preventer out there does not collect lint or dust and last a long time by the way it is also a cleaner for bores and lead and copper remover this one product does it all great stuff

Nitforfun1, it does exactly the same thing it does on a car; acts as a moisture- and air-barrier, thereby preventing oxidation/rust. It's what museums use to protect antique and historic firearms. It can also be used on wood, and when applied to the barrel channel of rifle stocks, can help prevent swelling and warping in humid and wet conditions (which can affect point of impact).
