Where can you get blue wonder? I spent 30 days in GA and even though I keep my pistol pretty clean, it has small amounts of rust on the slide.

The best thing I have found to stop rust is Johnson Paste Wax.

In the summer I carrie a Kel-Tec P3AT in my pocket and I have spilled pop and water on it and have been in the rain with it and no rust.

I was carrying it conceal with a comp-tac CTAC IWB holster and some how the humidity was getting to it. After I carry the pistol for about 8 hrs, I got home and it was showing some rust spots. After reading some threads at XDTALK, I found out that the Some XD models 2005 and earlier showed some rust problems, and believe me, I keep my guns clean and well lubricated. My options was to get the rust remove and get a new coat on the gun, either duracoat or one of the other coats available online. But after doing some math, I determeine that I was going to spent at least $100 to have the problem temporarily fix. I say temporarily, because rust can not be stop, it can be slow down, but not stop. Believe me I know, I am a corrosion protection tech, or cathodic protection for those familiar with that term. So what I desided to do was to pay about $160 dollars out of pocket, and trade the XD9 SB for a brand new XD-357sig. Now I am a happy camper, and I am not stress out about my investment rusting away for now...
well they dont rust when you keep them nice and oiled and NEVER SHOOT THEM!!! why do you have two guns with zero rounds fired?

Also, there is rust on the inside of my holster now, can i still use it?

Thanks in advance, HR.
Melonite is not a finish it's a treatment of the metal before the finish is added.
Call SA and give them you SN they will tell you if you gun has the Melonite finish.
