Damn, I'd send any of them back to SA. You shouldn't have to put up with any rust. I've had a Beretta 92FS since 1989 and its not got a mark on it. It worries me some since I just bought my new XD 9 service. I checked the date code and mine is 12/2005. (does not have melonite finish) I would send mine back if if gets any rust on it. What do you guys think of the Robar finishes?

i paid 120 for all steel parts plus barrel, but that was may '05, i heard that he quit doing custom STI's for a while because he was so overwhelmed with finish jobs on guns, is it true? can tell you for sure, havent dropped by his shop since 05. and the price on the website has gone up also.
