With the current 'troubles' with a crtain company that does refinishing, can someone point me to another that will install sights and refinish my Service in German Olive Gray that won't break the bank...

I think CCR isn't that expensive - hard chrome would be about $115 or so to do the slide - so, check with CCR - he is cheaper.

I think Gun Kote through pistol-gear is about the same cost as the one your thinking of Einheit. There's also pricing for sight installation.

I second the vote for CCR. Great prices and his work is top notch based on what many people have told me. The turnaround is 3-4 weeks right now AFAIK, but well worth the wait.

What company is having troubles? I've got my XD9 at Robar right now and it'd suck if something bad were going on with them.
