Ian Wendt XDTalk 100 Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 190	His slide is treated with Melonite. Melonite is transparent and a sub-surface "coating". I.E. it penetrates a certain distance into the metal. Unless you have a noticeable divot there, you're not really exposed to rust. Don't worry about it.
