questions about the springfield XD subcompack 9mm

I was looking at the XD subcompack 9 and i was wondering if you can conceal it in your backpocket with out to much discomfort?

Depends on how big your pocket is. It is not a pocket gun (ala Keltec.) I don't think you would enjoy sitting on it, it isn't any thinner than the service model. I think you would be better served with a holster.

Can you carry it in your backpocket if your just running into the store or something and not have a problem with it?

Sure, you can do that with the service models too. I was thinking you meant regular concealed carry.

I have shot the ported model in a .40 is that the same size as the service model?

yes, i do like that alot. can you get the SC ported? and does the v10 help with recoil?

Ok, I'm not a big fan of non-competition/range guns being ported. They just make them LOUD. Who cares if it makes the recoil easier to handle if you are deaf. If you don't like the recoil of a .40 a 9mm is a better solution to me than porting. Just my opinion.

Nope, but my .38 super SVI is and it will make your ears bleed if you don't have proper ear protection.
