I had my Sig P220 nickel plated by Klein Plating, mostly because they're local. This was a few years ago but I believe they charged me around $135 for the plating and Trijicons installed.

Check....

www.ronsgunshop.com. They do Carbonia bluing, from a flat blue, to the high polish blue found on earlier 1911's...if I'm not mistaken, they also do the blueing for Colt.

I had my Caspian frame and slide hard-chromed by them and they turned out super! I had some areas polished, some brushed. It's been a few years now and everything still looks great.

Nobody mentioned Robar. I don't know their turn around time but they offer coating in Black Oxide (bluing), Electroless Nickel, Blackening of Stainless steel, Parkerizing, and 2 special finishes NP3 and their own Roguard finish.

This is their Roguard finish and it's supposed to be very durable.
