the blue i am talking about is not bluing but more like dura coate but thanks hor all the links i can allways use more web sites till a decidethey were a great.

Mac's does duracoat type finishes and I've heard good things about them.

Springfield does it! I couldnt think of a better place to have it done! Its $175 through them.

Tripp or Metalloy for hard chroming.
NP3 is a nice finish and wears well.

i was looking to get my wife's xd9 slide coated, but can't seem to find any pictures of exactly what i'm wanting. she's wanting almost a black chrome look to it. sort of a slightly blued version of what's on there, but not be totally flat in color. anyone know of something?
