Melanite on 45 only?
Is the Melanite finish for the 45s only or are they starting to put it on all black finished XDs. I just got a 40 Tactical made around the first of the year and it seems to have a better finish than my 2.5 year old Service. Just wondering.

From what i have read it is only on the .45 ACP and there are no plans to put it on the other models
