it's back!

i just got my .45C slide back less than a week ago after sending it to SA for rust issues and it's rusted to HELL again! anything i can put on this thing to stop it from rusting??

Try Ezzox. This seems to be a problem with their stainless slides and some folks.

Wipe it down with one of those silicone gun and Reel rags from walmart... its got some kind of silicone oil stuff embedded in it... plus you could get it duracoated, won't rust if its duracoated...

Have the slide re-finished. There are many options and places that do great work. Personaly I like the NP3, and Hard Chrome.

If it's generating rust inside of a week in the summer I would seriously look at where you are storing or carrying it. I wouldn't think that even high humidity would cause rust so quickly.

Get it REALLY clean then put a nice coat of hard wax on it.
