rust on slide
ok i have a xd45 bi tone black on stainless slide and i wear it daily. now i took it off to exam it and thier was rust on the slide it has never been in contact with water of any sort that i know off. i got the rust off but it left black marks where the rust was. the rust was only thier for about a day before i noticed it i wouldnt even say a day. anyone help me with this as to why or if u thing sprngfield will cover this probmlem

yes its a brand new gun ive only had it for about 2 months. i cleaned it and i used a tri care gun cloth to wipe down the slide and i went out today for a couple hours and with in a couple hours thier was rust again on the slide. and i know it didnt get wet this time
