weapon shield and eezoxx

I have heard its a fairly good cleaner and an extremly good lubricant and protectant. Anyone who's ever used it pleasde give me a little feed back on it. Also if anyone sever used Weapon shield, tell me how good a cleaner, lubricant and protectant it is. I wrote to the guy who invented and asked hom in detail. he said weapon shield removes copper, carbon and lead. he seems like a very stand up sorta guy and i do take his word for that but i'd also like to know what my friends here think of these two products.
Thanks guys,

Amber

Eezox is a good metal protector and because of its properties is OK as a cleaner too. It is an oil, but not a great lubricant. A few years ago, when the XD finish was not ideal, Eezox was a great solution. Today, with the better finish, a simple gun oil will work fine.

Hope this helps.

I've used weapon shield and liked it just fine...I recently switched over to Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic oil as a gun lube. Why pay $10 for a few ounces when I can pay $8 for a quart

Just about any good brand of gun lube will work. Eezox if it has a older finish and rusts fairly easy. I have used CLP, Weapons Shield, Steel Shield, Rem oil and many more and now usually use Hoppe's for copper/bore cleaning, Gun Scrubber Synthetic Safe Spray to clean areas hard to reach and lube with what I have handy.
If the gun is stored for a long time I would use Eezox.

Some people say weapon shield is such a good cleaner u dont even need a bronze brush with it.Just coat the bore and barrel very well withg it and a couple of hours later, all tyhe lead will be patched away...IS it true?

I use Weaponshield CLP (which is made by Steelshield Technologies) and find that it does a great job, while at the same time being less work do to one substance for C, L and P. Also it is non toxic which is a big plus for me since I find it hard to clean guns with gloves on. Do not discount your long term safety by handling toxic chemicals, especially ones with volatile aromatics in it.
