camping + rain = rust
went camping with some friends this weekend , it rained and instead of waiting for it to stop raining we decided to just shoot in the rain. anyhow after 2 days of shooting , no cleaning and exposure to water there was rust on the slide of the slide of my xd45. used some smith and wesson bore cleaner/solvent and scrubbed it with a toothbrush and now there is no trace of rust anywhere on the gun.

Same thing happened to me this weekend too, but for some reason, all the rust wiped off with a swipe of my shirt. Must be all that silicone thats on it. Its about the best thing ive found for it.
