Interesting, I use Slip2000 and would like to see it tested. Maybe next time.

Funny, I am doing a test myself right now. I'll post the results in about 2 days (after 48-hours of soaking in saltwater).

In the Navy we used CLP to maintain our M9's (Beretta 92FS's) and magazines with CLP. We carried daily while on patrol around the oil terminals. Corrosion was a problem on all our gear. CLP really did the trick. I'm not sure who the manufacturer was, or if it even matters. I swear by the stuff.

I've been using BF CLP for a long time now. I like it so much that when I installed garage doors it's what I recommended the customer to use on their doors. That stuff is simply amazing.

Anyone ever use Amsoil MP? A friend uses MP only, claims studies have proven it good stuff, can't find these studies,,,,I bought a can, still use the CLP.

I have used MP on many things and it has worked wonderfully. I have not however used it on a a firearm. But I don't see why it wouldn't work.
