Militec-1 vs Rust
I just received my shipment of Militec-1 and have started the applications process. I was wondering if anyone else has applied Militec-1 on their XD. My XDm is brand new and has no rust so I thought I would get the jump on it early on. Prior to this I used CorrosionX with great success on my other firearms. The Militec-1 is designed as a dry impregnated lubrication. Guys in Iraq seem to love it. Anyone else out there using this?

I tried it about 7 yrs ago and ended up with some rust (ugh!). Eezox has done a much better job in my humid environment.

I've used it for a long time. Good lube but doesn't prevent rust any better than anything else i've tried.

Militec or almost anything will work for normal conditions, but for extreme conditions I would use Eezox or BF clp. See Rust Test................
