the blue ones are lightened, a trick to
get the sear spring under the extractor pin is to put the pointy part if the spring in the empty tip of a lead pencil., after that worked i figured using the erasor side might have got the job done as well...another time I dug the spring into the end of a plastic punch

whoever the guy in the video is must have thick skinned finger tips

Weird, well they're very on the ball with customer service. They're already sending out a missing reduced power striker safety spring. Only the competition blue spring was in my kit as I mentioned earlier.

The only other spring in my kit that didn't have a blue one with it was the sear spring.

if there is only one type spring in the kit, they should not need to color code it

Not sure which kit you got.
Yup, that's exactly the kit I got and installed.
Just for clarification we're talking about this kit, which shows exactly what br0ck and I received.

Are you "blue-springers" sure we're all talking about the same trigger kit? Pics?

Here are pics of the kit that I got last week with both sets of springs. The second set is still in the package.

I have two of those ones and used the blue striker and trigger springs, the included striker safety and sear springs

a guy on arf responded to my ? about who to send my xdm45 off to to get a trigger job by telling me to get a prp kit.

A) i'm glad i found the receipt for the gun showing i paid $609 for the bitone nib
B) i'm glad nobody said they would take it for $500(reminds me i got to cancel that ad)
C) could quite possibly be back in love w/my namesake

does anyone know what the pull becomes using the "blue" parts?

off to snag a credit card!

OK here is the deal. We had some new springs made. We are calling them our competition springs (marked in blue) and just the trigger spring can lower the trigger pull by about one pound. The striker spring is lighter but not so light that you have to be picky about primers. It will work with WIN, CCI and FEDS. We have included the new springs in the drop in kit and did not raise the price of that kit. If you have bought Our Drop In kit and you would like the new springs Give Us a CALL and we will send them to you. This Offer Will Stand For TWO Weeks Starting Now.
