I guess the ticket. I've never been a McCain fan, but more of the parties beliefs are in line with mine and the addition of Palin tips the ticket more to the conservative side.

I am voting for the Ticket that will best represent my beliefs.
To vote for anyone other than McCain or Obama might make a statement, but what will we do if that statement turns out to be "Obama wins" because we split our vote?
The next president of the U.S. will be Obama or McCain.
There is no other candidate in the race that has a chance of wining even 1 electoral vote.
The stakes are too high in this election to make a "statement." Act in in interest of self-preservation and vote for McCain. The alternative is too horrific. An Obama presidency will turn this nation into something we will no longer recognize a the land of the free and the home of the brave.

If McCain didn't pick Palin (or someone like her), I'd be voting for Bob Barr.

As much as I like Palin...I am VOTING FOR John McCain...
As long as John McCain didn't pick someone completely off the wall, he had my vote.
But he did well, IMO, and I like the ticket as a whole

Well said, Dave. Also, about voting to make a statement...it would seem that any statement made will be nothing more than a quiet whisper in the grand scheme of things...

Um, let's see...I don't agree with a single thing on the Obama/Biden ticket and they're both hypocrites and live by double standards. They represent political expediency and are nothing different even though they cast themselves as agents of change, hope, and new politics.
On the other side, I believe in McCain as a vet and he's not as bad to say he's the lesser of two evils, but there are definitely areas were he and I disagree. However, on the other side of his ticket, I really like Palin.
Personally, I'd like Palin to get 4 years under her belt (or skirt since I haven't seen her wear a pants suit) and run for president with Michael Steele as her VP in 2012 if McCain doesn't run again.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.
