**Need Help Choosing Between Two 1911s**
I've had a 1911 itch for quite awhile now,
I've gotten my options down to two: Springfield Armory Full Size Target Model - (Dealer has this for $600) & Springfield Armory MC Operator - (Friend has this for $850) I like both just about the same, and I'm leaning towards the Target model just because of the price difference - (that's a lot of ammo and mags) My questions are - How does the Target model stack up against the SA loaded version and against the operator? Which one should I pick and WHY!!?!??!?!? |

Is it an Operator with the full length rail or the half length rail? If it has the full length rail jump on it.
Also look at the serial numbers of both pistols. If both serial numbers start with NM you are good with either pistol. If only one of them starts with NM buy that pistol. I have an Operator with the full length rail. And it has a NM serial number. It's a very accurate pistol.

I'd go for the loaded, spend the rest on ammo.

Kimber Eclipse II. OOOOHHHH man would I love to get my hands on that. And I don't even LIKE 1911's. Kimber quality in a beautiful package would be my reasoning. Way too expensive though. And it would have to be in 10mm, as I absolutely despise the .45 ACP.
FLAME ONNNNNN!!!!!

I say get the TRP with the rail... MMmm MMmm Good
![]() If you can't get the TRP, then go with the MC Operator... Not AS good, but still great!
