Yep....there's no substitute for regularly receiving good teaching, giving your worship to He who deserves it with your fellow believers, and we've formed some very close bonds with other couples.

On a side note, if anybody on either side of the voting has any questions about Christianity or any of this "God" stuff in general, feel free to PM me. No preaching, no judging, and if I don't know the answer I won't blow smoke up your wazoo.

I went every week for 17years never liked it, i just go for holidays now.

Yes . . . every weekend and my kids go to Catholic school where my wife teaches. I believe church is important, but only a part of living one's faith.

used to attend catholic mass twice a week. hated every minute of it. don't go anymore

Used to when I lived with my parents. Now only on Christmas and Easter, with the family. I have been thinking about starting back again at some point.

I do. In January, I helped my Dad plant a new church in our community. It has been awesome!

Church is full of a bunch of "Do as I say...Not as I do" Hypocrites. Either Telling you what you want to hear, or using fear/guilt to seperate you from your money (sorta' like Politicians).

When I was a kid, My grandmother used to watch Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker. I still remember that half of the show was used to ask for money, or talk about some stupid "Super-church" that they were gonna build "in the name of the Lord".........

I guess the Lord changed his mind about the "Super-Church", and decided the money should be spent on Cars and Hookers instead!!!!

BTW: I ALSO THINK CHURCHES SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TAXES!!!

Innocent life is cheap--a few hundred bucks for an abortion. Guilty life is expensive--a couple million for appeals, incarceration, and execution. How bass-ackwards is our society?
