Not everybody bruises easily. I can run 50 full magnum rounds through mine when I take it to the range. It is not pleasant but it is not unbearable either. Everybody is different I guess.

I think part of my problem with the gun is the size of it like I mentioned before
I have model 329PD thats the Airlite in .44 magnum. It does weight 1/2 again more than the 340PD and the energy difference between .357 and .44 is not that big of a separation. I have to admit I can't grip the 340 real well I'm pretty big guy (6'5 300 +lbs.) and I have pretty big hands. I think uncle mikes makes gel padded glove for shooting the lighter weight guns like the 340 and the 329. I forgot to add I don't bruise easily.
