I would not Oppose Open Carry Laws, but I would not Open Carry myself. I know that guns make a lot of people uncomfortable, and I see no reason to contribute to that. And I'm not talking about the staunch, anti-gun crowd, but just the average person on the street. Many are simply uncomfortable when they see guns around.

I'm quite comfortable with concealed carry and do so whenever I'm wearing clothes. But I don't want to advertise and I don't want to get involved with some punk that wants to try me simply because I'm wearing a weapon. And besides, I like the slight advantage "surprise" provides, should I have to present my weapon.

So open carry if you wish, but don't require me to do so, and don't be surprised if average people start moving away from you.

Its legal to open carry were i live but if you're weapon becomes visible while being carried concealed you get in trouble. I have never quit figured that one out. I support open carry those that don't should try hiding a 12g rifled slug gun under there shirt.

loopholes to "brandishing" convictions.

I certainly do NOT oppose OC laws. Here in DE it is perfectly lawful to OC (no written "law" saying otherwise), so I do just that - OC daily. I don't have my CCDW License, so I have to OC if I'm carrying a gun.
