Going about the same but spending more money. Not necessarily on gas as much as ammo. The price of lead has sky rocketed which leads to the price of ammo going up. If anyone that has reloaded even shotshells has seen, you used to be able to get a 25 lb bag of lead shot for about $15 (years ago), the last I saw was between $50 and $60 now. It is almost worth buying the crappy stuff at Wally World now instead of reloading your own. Gas has factored in but I will shoot no matter what, so I just spend the extra cash and eat less...

It's about the same for me. I can also go to my mother's house because she lives in an area where you can practice without breaking the law.

It's not the gas prices keeping me down... it's the damn ammo prices!

It's not because of gas prices. I don't go due to ammo prices!

Going less because I started shooting IDPA. Straight lane shooting isn't as fun anymore once you shoot IDPA. It really stands for I Don't Practice Anymore.

Gas,ammo and range fees will cripple you if you go to an indoor range every week with a spouse for an hour.

A lot less. It is 30 miles to my club. It's beautiful but it is getting expensive to drive there.

Been close to 6 wks for me - DOUGH!
It's a 14 mile rnd trip to the outdoor range facility. Gas prices are an issue as well as AMMO prices, but the weather (WIND!) is also a big factor. Summer time is alway packed with multple activities for my family, so "priorities" can get skewd a bit. I've found that with the cold winters here....I shoot more during THAT season at the indoor facility. A close friend has a farm not 20 miles away, and we've spent some recent wkends ATV'n on my new Arctic Cat 650TRV gopher blast'n - so I AM shooting......but more with the .22's On the + side......weather permiting the wifey & I are going out early sunday morning to throw some lead downrange.

The gas is not the issue for me due to having a 100 yard range on my property. It is the price of ammo that has slowed my shooting own. As well as Having to work alot of overtime at work usually spending 12 out of 14 days at work. So on my days off I am trying to catch up on my honey do lists around the house.
