I like the Aimpoint, but that is the one/type I am familiar with.

I do like the reticle on the EOTech as well, but have never shot with one.

Eotech here. I like the reticle and the armored hood that it has for protection.

I have an AIMPOINT clone and I do mean clone. It's got all the same markings and everything and the field of view is very narrow compared to the EOTECH becuase you are looking though a long tube. The EOTECH has a shorter "tube" and the lenses are MUCH wider and the FOV for me is real wide and I find it easier to two-eye shoot with it.

As I posted on the other thread asking about the ebay eotechs

My bday present to myself was a new EOTECH for my M4orgery

I had a similar poll about a month ago. I was debating between the Aimpoint and EOTech. The ACOG was a little out of my price range. There are some good pros and cons here

I ended up going with the EOTech. I've shot with both, and like the bigger sight picture and tad bit quicker target acquisition of the EOTech. Don't get me wrong, the Aimpoint is sweet! and has insane battery life compared to the EOTech, but my choice led me to this

straigh outta the box, and onto the gun(no adjustment), this is how I shot at 50yd

I think they may do a sight adjustment at the factory before sending them out because mine shot the same way.

and if you get an Aimpoint, make sure you don't mount it like this

Eotech w/ 3x flip down magnifier is the optimum package IMO.

I have all three
Each serves a different purpose.

If you are going to choose just one, I would pick one of the newer Aimpoints with the 50,000+ hour plus battery life. Then later if you want some magnification add a magnifier setup behind it.
