Ok, spoke to Bearcreek today and we're trying to get another shootout together. The last one was a pretty good time so we're hoping to keep the momentum and make this second shootout a success as well. We're taking it to the polls and this time we're asking for your opinions on the location and the date on which to hold this next get together. So please take a moment and look at your calendars and vote for what works best for you, I'm pretty sure we won't have a landslide victor so we'll take the top two contenders (location/date) and everyone that voted in the poll will have a chance to vote on the final two, as always majority wins.

In all fairness to others that came in from Forth Worth, Waco, and other locations to attend the last shootout in San Antonio I added the other locations to the list, we can't be fair if we don't at least offer to travel as well.

Yep Yep!! Another shootout is in order!! The last one we had Springfield Armory sent us some goodies and I know Propellerhead took home quite a loot. I will say that we do have another sponsor and I have a box of goodies in my office. I will not disclose who the sponsor(s) is/are or what gifts they shower us with. if you want to know, you gotta show up and have some fun with us!!

If I were going to attend such an event, I would vote for Dallas. However, it would be too embarassing for me to be around people that know how to shoot, so I will need to stay under my rock.

Don't worry we're just out there to have fun and it's not a competition by any means, we do like to have one quick competition to give the winner first chance at anything in the loot bag from there on it was pretty much everyone do what you like as long as we kept it safe.

I picked Dallas because it would be a short drive for me. However, San Antonio is the most visited tourist town in Texas. People can plan a mini-vacation along with the Texas XD Shootout. I'm game for any of the metro areas, including Austin and Waco. It's just a matter of what's going on that weekend.
