CHL Application/Renewal Processing Times

For those of you that have submitted an application or renewal for CHL, how long did it take for your license to come in?

I'm at 82 days and according to DPS my information has not been entered into the system.

In N.C. I believe the standard is 90 days, of course this is a shall issue state so unless you are turned down you WILL be issued your license on the 90th day. Some counties I've heard will issue them after 6 weeks but here in Durham county they tell you upfront that it will be 90 days. Mine was issued on the 88th day.

Believe the standard in Colorado is 90 days, but at the last renewal we were able to keep the old permit till we got the new one.

New one came in less than 60 days

texas has a huge backlog in applicants because of a 40% surge over last year. The typical rule was 60 days, now they said to add another 60 days on that

I just sent off me and my bros CHL on monday so I cant comment on wait times

My County in GA (Cobb) had been taking up to 5 months before Georgia Carry : An information clearinghouse for Georgia Firearms License issues and news and one of our Representatives got involved. I received my renewal May 1, 30 days exactly after submitting it.

Here in Florida it took mine one month to the day. Would have been faster but I did it over Christmas and New Year's.
