Like the title reads, if you could only own one brand of gun for the rest of your life, what would it be?

What an awful world that would be. I can't imagine anything worse than being stuck with Ruger shotguns, rifles, and pistols.

I'm not gonna lie, I like my Glock more than the XD, but my vote would have to go to Springfield Armory. I could live without Glocks, but I can't without Springfield's amazing line of 1911s. The XD is a great, fun, and dependable firearm, as well. I would feel just as safe carrying a XD instead of my Glock 19. But choosing Springfield Armory is best for competitive purposes. This would allow me to have much more options for competitions. Obviously I'm there for the 1911s, but I'd love to use an XD Tactical for IDPA/IPSC shooting. But unless shooting single-stack, I'd prefer to use my G19 for competition or carry.

But seriously, Springfield Armory is a testament to how great a company can get. Amazing XDs, amazing 1911s, the M1As are self-explanatory, and a warranty that's so great, despite the fact that most never even need to make use of it.

yea i may be a bit biased, but i feel as though my XD's will last forever, therefore why would i ever need another gun plus SA's 1911's and M14's.

I'd go Springfield Armory for the XDs, the 1911s, and most of all, the M1As. I don't have an M1A yet, but LORD do I ever want two.
