Springfield because of the xd pistols.

Smith & Wesson would be my next choice, since they also have a nice selection of polymer and 1911's.

This is a tough question, but if I was relegated to only one gun, it would be the Glock. Reliability is my #1 priority, and the Glock has proven it's worth to me in this respect.
