Since the poll was for what BRAND of gun I chose CZ because they are the only company listed which makes not only handguns but some very good rifles in both rimfire and centerfire. The only thing they don't make that I'd be interested in in the way of firearms are revolvers and shotguns.

I would have picked S&W but their rimfire and centerfire rifles, except for the M&P series, are under the Thompson-Center name.

i love springfield, S&W, but if i had only one choice it would probably be a Kimber 1911 of some sort

As much as I love my XD (and others) I would have to go with Thompson Center. With the Contender and Encore families I could still partake in a wide variety of shooting endeavors.

It would come down to either Ruger, or FN. But FN wins out ONLY because they come with 3 magazines right off the bat, and the FNP series is a really good line of guns where you can not go wrong with any of them. THe FN's are the sleepers in the gun industry. If more people really looked at these, they'd be HUGELY popular.

I would have said Springfield Armory XD, but I just can't help but go for the underdog instead.
