I voted Glock.
They work better for me. I think the XD is a fine pistol design, and have been fairly impressed with some of the ones I've shot...however, I am becoming more and more underwhelmed with my XD-M as time goes by. I don't think it's a bad pistol, per se; it just doesn't seem to be working for me. Odds are, it's going to be traded off for an EBR in the near future, and I doubt I'll buy another XD. If they work for you, hey--that's great. I do not, however, believe they are the finest pistols ever manufactured--nor, for that matter, are Glocks. That honor belongs to H&K P7's...

After shooting 1911s for nearly 20 years, the grip angle of the Glock 34 was somthing I couldn't get used to. The XD9Tac on the other hand, points more naturally. Never had a problem with function with either. There are lots more goodies available for the Glock though.

I have had/shot both and would much rather have the XD. Glock is a good pistol, but I like the added safety features of the XD. Plus I'm a Springfield man too..

I voted XD from personal use. I hate the grip angle on a Glock and the grips are too big. That was out of whatever number the 40 is. I held them before and have not been impressed. People say you can get grip reductions but I shouldnt have to do that after I spend $500 on a pistol. I prefer the grip angle on 1911s, HKs, XDs. In addition they have metal guide rods.

I voted GLOCK. I just like them better. They're easier to conceal, a 19 will conceal better than an xd sub. The 26 better than a 19. AND the barrel on the 26 is (marginally) longer than the xd sub. Just a better design. The xds are too bulky. I like factory trigger of the Glock better, but both could use some improvement. I like the lower bore axis of the Glocks. I had a 23 that I shot a lot and when I pulled out my xd-9, I felt like it was harder to control than the Glock in .40. I do like the grip safety though.
