belt widths ? what do you prefer ?

1 3/4 supports my OWB holster better IMO. But I'm sure a 1 1/2 is just as good pending the quality.

I think most pants are standard for 1 1/2" belt loops. Lot of pants out there wont accept a 1 3/4" belt.

I have found that to be a problem. I own several pair of a couple different pants in all colors. LOL

For me I definately get better support from 1 3/4"--holsters definately stay flatter without cinching up as tight. I own an 1 1/2" leather gun belt and a Wilderness 1 3/4". I thought I would have belt loop issues when I bought the Wilderness, but I have never had a problem. Partly I think this is because the Wilderness is so much thinner than a double-thick leather belt.

I use a 1.5 because very few of my pants have loops that will take a 1.75 inch belt.
