About 10 minutes for the chief's secretary to type it up and laminate it.

When I was living in Texas it took 42 days from mailbox to mailbox. That was back in 2006 though. I'm not sure how it is now.

I cant answer yet, but will answer soon (hopefully). I am waiting, it has only been 2.5 weeks. I was told it should be around 4-6 weeks on average. 45 days is the max though. Either has to issue or give reason why not (then one can appeal).

5 days from the time I mailed it in. About 15 minutes at the Sheriff's office when I decided to get the photo ID.
