Grip Options for XD?

I'm having problems in sweaty ole' Houston keeping a good, firm grip on the XD after a few dozen rounds. I feel like I keep having to re-adjust my grip to perfect my accuracy... or maybe that's just me. I'm thinking about upgrading the grips, and need advice!

(I shoot a Bi-tone XD-9 4" Service, totally stock. For now.)

XD Grip

You might want to look into a pierce ext. for your mags ( 10 round ) The high cap. 16 round mag. fits most people that I talk to. Great weapon choice.

I have the Decal grips on my XD and love em. The only problem I have is that I was thinking of getting a Crimson Trace for mine and it won't fit over the grips.. errr

Not on a XD Service (What the OP owns) . . . would make the grip a bit long.

After putting it on my G34, I'm a big fan of the Decal Grip, sand texture. Don't know if I'd recommend it for concealed carry though. Might be a bit rough on clothing.

Skate Tape

My vote would be for the the tape. I like the skate tape that is what i have had put on both of my competition XDs. You can buy it at most skate or bicycle shops.

I like the tape. You can get it at Home Depot as Stair Tape for $10 a roll. Plenty of tape for lots of guns/retrys, or your stairs. The grip feels good too. Very secure.

Does the grip tape rub on your clothes or etc and make carrying more difficult?
