i clean mine after every range trip, but mainly because i shoot corrosive ammo through my mosin nagant, and it has to be cleaned pronto, so i figure that i might as well clean the others while i'm at it.

It depends, Sometimes a simple field strip, sometimes a complete detail cleaning, disassembly and assembly.

Field strip after every range trip and if it sits in the case for 2 weeks, I'll get them out and wipe them down.

usualy I do the filed strip/solvent/oil. but every 1000 rounds I do a compleete take down.

Soap and Hot water scrub, then comppressed air then lube then shoot , repeat...
