Question

My first impression was WTF? But after a closer review, it does seem they have kept the ergonomics, and that is what I like the most about my XD. I don’t understand why they would make the grip look like that, I think that part looks cheesy. I will have to try one out for sure, but I don’t know if I have any need to go and get the latest greatest when my current XD performs perfectly!

+1 I am honestly embarrassed to say I own a Springfield Armory weapon after this little stunt. Why why why!

Pretty ballsy to repost the pics.

Anywhoo, I kinda like it. It does have a gimmicky kinda' look to it though. I wonder if theyll offer it in all 3 frame colors, and what the selling price will be. I think Id buy one.

It looks like someone sat down with a 12-pack and few seasons worth of Battlestar Galactica DVD's when they designed this puppy. I think it looks silly.....you can throw this one in the same pile of crap as the Beretta Neos .22

I have been staring at the pictures for a couple hours now (work is painfully slow today), and I have to admit that it is growing on me. I have always been a fan of "simple=good" and I live by that every day in my graphic design work, but I think the scifi geek in me is loving the looks of this gun!

I vote YES! (but I still really want to hold one!)

I don't like it AT ALL. Maybe it will grow on me, but i doubt it. It looks too much like a Walter, which I have never liked. Plus, if is is going to be .40 only offering that wouldn't really mean much to me as I am not a fan of .40

It looks neato.

Don't think I would buy one though, but I would love to shoot one.

I think it looks like a glock with that take down lever ><

I dont think the take down lever looks anything like a glocks.

To me the lower looks like a Steyr M1A and the upper looks like a S&W M&P. Its like they maited and had a XD-M40.

I'm lost!

Is the model in your pics made by Springfield or did you have one modified or what? I can't find it on the SA website. Has anyone else seen this "XD-M"?
