I have the 22-4 Thunder Ranch, and I love it!!!
The only bad thing I can say about it (besides the "Hillary-hole") is the grips. You'll definatly need some bigger grips or the addition of a T-grip.

I would like to have the 1917 model too, though!

I say: Buy 'em both!!

I've got Hogue Mono-grips on my 1917 and they are very comfortable.

It does look funny that's for sure. I have heard some describe the 325 Thunder Ranch and the 327 described as the perfect home defense gun - stopping power and reliability and the option to ad do dads.

Check out this link if you thought the 325 looked funny:

Chapie, you're gonna go blind if you keep looking at ugly-assed pictures like that. It'll serve you right too, for exposing the rest of us to them

Frenchy- did you settle on a choice?

Good god that thing is ugly. Is there an "open" revolver division?

Steve, I am so Glock-dumb I had to google that up & see what was

It don't look like a bad pistol overall...it certainly isn't any uglier than some of the freakish wheelguns we've seen in this thread. You'll have to fight the urge to shoot lead in it (which would be tough for me) or just get an aftermarket barrel. I shot a Glock 30 quite a bit several years ago and it was one of the more accurate compact 45's I've had ahold of.

Post a range report when you get a chance. Take care-
