I have the 22-4 Thunder Ranch, and I love it!!!
The only bad thing I can say about it (besides the "Hillary-hole") is the grips. You'll definatly need some bigger grips or the addition of a T-grip.  I would like to have the 1917 model too, though! I say: Buy 'em both!!  .

I shot a Glock 30 quite a bit several years ago and it was one of the more accurate compact 45's I've had ahold of. Post a range report when you get a chance. Take care-
