I carry my 45 compact in a Dakota Defender from K&D Holsters. It's a high quality, very comfortable holster. I highly recommend it.

You can't go wrong with anything from Milt Sparks. I carry every day and Sparks leather wears like iron. That said my current favorite iwb is the comp-tac infidel. Terrific holster for the money. Light and comfortable and very reasonable in price.

I own two different Tucker Gunleather holsters for my XD .45 4". "The Answer" is a leather kydex mix and the "Silent Thunder" is kydex and leather on inside of holster. Both are very comforting, the "Answer" distributes the weight more evenly, is tuckable and conceals very well. When it warms up I wear the "Silent Thunder" more as it has a smaller profile or printing. I am extremely satisfied with both these holster.

i just got my crossbreed and so far love it,thogh the kydex form was so loose my gun just falls right out if i turn it upside down. already talked to mark at crossbreed and he had me try some easy kydex adjustments but it just wasnt working. im going on a 4x4 trip and plan to wear it the whole time so i can see if its for sure that iwant to keep it.i also looked at the Comp-tac minatuar M-TAC as it has no kydex or metal touching the skin and i have a com-tac C-TAC for the last year and a half and its great except during summer. when its 115 out wearing a tucked in undershirt to keep the kydex from really biting me is not such a great option, so the leather backing is a must for me. i might get an M-TAC as well down the road, but for now the crossbreed is my choice. plus im sure that mark at crossbread can do a little work so as the two metal connetion points are covered!
