I figured people would elect more than one viable option as most of the weapons posted are known performers.

It's really just a fun sort of poll. Just wanted to get peoples opinions. So far it looks like red blooded americans love their 1911's.

For overall reliability I'd have to roll with the Glock. 14 rounds of 45 ACP in a reliable, durable, no fuss combat weapon is hard to beat. 1911's are darned sexy though.

Given any choice, I think the S&W models 25 & 625 are the most reliable platforms for 45ACP.
Bottom Feeders? Hk and Sig?

There's one in every crowd.

The XD has been the most reliable with all types of ammo, in my personal experience.

Glocks have issues with certain types of ammo. Same with mil-spec 1911s.

I would guess everything else on your list and modern 1911s are all solid runner-ups.

Didn't the XDs have issues with Federal HST?

Heh, yeah. If those are bottom feeders I wonder what's top of the line.
