Eh no one gun has been made yet that can work for everyone (though some would argue that the endless variations of the AR do) so do what you want to do with your guns just keep coming back to XDTALK.

Sigs are greatness.
I sold mine to buy my XD45 compact.
My P229 had become a safe queen.

Came as a 40cal from the factory.
I bought a factory Sig 357sig barrel for it and that is all I ever shot thru her.
I never liked the SA part of the DA/SA.
It was way too light for me.
If it would have been a DOA or DAK, I would have kept her.
I like a consistent trigger pull on my SD pistols.
I say if you want it, buy it.
If I was to buy another Sig,
It would have to be a P220 DAK.

The best handgun for you is the one that fits your needs.....

im not worrying about concealment with this one. really just a hunting companion and range gun. for that i think the 226 might be a little better.

and we are exact opposites!! if i could id get a SOA sig .40. the double action for me is only good because it turns it into single action. i really just like DA/SA cause i can feel a little safer about carrying...and dont have to cock it or take of the saftey to get that nice crisp trigger.

your only mistake was that you didn't give your XD to me before buying the sig
