+1 From an Engineering standpoint, the metric system is easier to use. FYA, the state of AZ (transportation) tried to switch. Unfortunately, many of the local contractors petitioned to bring back English. Needless to say, I am using feet and inches again

I agree! My parents learned metric in school being told that was what the U.S. was switching to. I heard the same line of crap. Kid's now are being told the same thing " by the time your older, this is the way it will be."

Come on! pick one. I'm sick of having to go through two different socket sets two find out what size I need.
