Help me decide where my $275 goes...
Well everyone, I have come into possession of an "extra" $275 that I didn't have last week, and it's NOT from an IRS refund either!
I've been wanting an AR-15 for 2+ years, and this would be enough to get a complete lower. Or I could buy a sh!tload of ammo and get more practice in. Or I could put a little extra money into the pot and get one of those Viridian green lasers. Or it would be enough for an approved gun course (part of the CCDW License process). Or should I just hoard it for later? Or ....... So, what would you suggest?

i say buy a striped lower and build it your self. no so mcuh to save money but you can save money if you look around
but more to learn about it and how all the parts fit and interact together. an understanding of the mechanics of your weapons is a great thing to know if anything ever goes wrong and you dont have access to a gunsmith. and i usually take my guns all the way apart any way so this was just saving me that step. now on the lower you dont neeed to spend alot. it really isnt all that important. The upper is far more important. with an election comeing up an ar-15 might not be available in the coming years but most handguns will |

Sorry, I should have included the prices of these choices. An approved course here in DE will run me about $250. Which won't leave me enough for a stripped lower, too.

AR lower or CCW course. It's a toss up for me.

If you have credit card debt, apply it towards that. In the long run, that is going to give you the most bang for your buck. Sucks - but it is true.
If no real debt - AR Lower or CCW course!
