Poll on which AR-15

To spend my tax money on. First off ill start with some info im trying to get in to a locale police department now and am looking for a rifle that I can use as a patrol rifle, I also want to get one that I can use as a plinker and use to more acclimate my self to shooting with an Ar type rifle. Any way these are the four rifles that I have come to choose between but every time I decide on one I hear great things about the others so I am leaving it up to the xdtalkers to decide which AR-15 I will be spending my tax return and stimulation check on. Thanks for all of the opinions and advice in adance.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better general purpose AR than the Stag. Especially at the price they sell them for.

the stag was the first one i was going to buy but then some one told me that the 1 in 9 berral is not the best and that CMMG had the 1 in 7 berrals. what differance if any is there between 1/7 and 1/9.

I'm building my AR soon. I am getting an Anvil Arms lower and a CMMG upper. I am going with 16" mid-length upper with mid-length hand guards.

What AR does the local PD approve ?
Do they supply it or do you have to buy your own ?

I'd vote none of the above but it wasn't an option.
If those are your only choices available to you, choose the Stag.

well the 1/7 allows you to use the heavier bullets. i have an 18" CMMG upper with 1/8 twist and i love it. my next ar will be CMMG also. i dont know what an equivlent stag or bushy upper would cost but mine was about $550 out the door.

The CMMG will come the closest to mil-spec. Also, the CMMG has a lifetime warranty. The only other rifle on your list that has that is the Stag.
