Clarification: I'm referring specifically to mechanical malfunctions in the firearm; failures to feed, eject, premature slide locking, or other jams. Catastrophic breakage would count, too (like barrel snapping!!!!). I'm not interested in rust-related stuff. Ammo problems are ammo problems and not XD problems though I feel that ammo problems are equally as likely in all calibers and will probably cancel each other out throughout the different XD models.

I know these polls are FAR from scientific but I'm curious to know how malfunctions spread between the different caliber/designs of XD.
Ishpeck,

Did you ever mail your XD in to SA for repair?

Frank

Four or five fail to feed using Federal HST and a couple of times using WWB from Wally World.

Had a stovepipe the first mag I put through it. I think it was probably the ammo...but no problems at all since.
