Anonymous poll to what your political ideals are
Just curious without having to come forward, what the percentages are of those that call themselves conservative, liberal or moderate.
I could care lesss about individual ideals. I'm more interested in the overall percentages . . .

Mostly conservative, but there are at least a couple liberal ideals that I agree with.

I am a moderate independent. I am fiscally pretty conservative, socially fairly liberal, and pretty darn conservative about guns and security. On other issues I tend to be center right or center left depending on what it is.
Unlike many I do not find the word "liberal" to be a badge of disgrace in any way. Nor do I think that "conservative" is a badge of disgrace. I do think that we disgrace our country and its values when we use either of these terms to ridicule or deride. Tolerance of other people's right to believe as they wish is the bedrock our nation was built upon. It shames me to see the depths that we have sunk to in our intolerance of other people's ideas. It shows how little faith we have in the strength of our nation or our people... regardless of their place on the political spectrum. My $.02

If I had taken this poll a few years ago, I would have said "conservative", but these days I feel like the conservative movement has moved so far to the right, that I have to identify myself as a moderate. My views haven't changed, but I think the term "conservative" represents something different than it used to. Just my opinion....
