i went with trigger, but the little pup looks like a Walter to me.

Or you get another and name them Heckler and Koch

Maximus is way too common, too many people thinking they are gladiators (same guys who've never even been in ONE fight). It was a good movie, but naming your dog that makes you look like a ......... a word i won't use on this forum

My favorite was maximus, but like others have said, max is such a commmon name for dogs...its in the top 10 for most popular names.

Any other suggestions for a cool name?....besides kermee

My wife and I both looked at the picture, and went "Gunner". NO doubt..

I wanted to name our Beagle "Thor," but the wife didn't like that. I thought it was cool! Pffft...and he's MY dog, not her's! Grrr, women.

Anyway, we ended up naming him "Poky," and he definitely fits his name!

I knew a Yellow Lab named "Gunner" once. My vote would be for "Trigger."

Gunner although trigger is cool too.
I was thinking about both thoses names when I got my pooch.
Drake and Tyson.
We picked Tyson as he was a nippy little f'er.LOL.

Just keep in mind that some names will automatically invoke abbreviations as nick names so make sure you can live with those shortened names when deciding.

Trigger and Gunner would prevent that from happening (Trig and Gun don't really work) it seems but Leonidas may become Leo or Leon while Maximus may become Max . . .
