+3 here. I give up going to the bars about 8 years ago. Whenever my wife has a complaint about boys and their hobbys I just remind her there is another place I could be spending my time.
 It has a nice calming effect

too many hours says my wife....4-5 hours a day when theres no little league or family things going on, or I'm not working late. Its either helping others with guns, building them, refinishing them, deciphering codes and dates, research, reading, loading, taking inventory of what I have vs what I 'need', cleaning, and 'smithing.....and then all the militaria that goes with it...Between Russian, Combloc, Spanish, WW1 & WW2 German/Austrian, Finnish, and American Civil War weapons and relics.....
When its not gun related, its Triumph/British motorcycles and old Sportsters... I seriously need cheaper hobbies.....

Wife probably would say too much...
Probably all day. I work in the firearms industry so my workday is consumed with it; and then my off time I spend with my own stuff. |

At least 3 hours. Much more on weekends. If you include hunting it is even more. I usually read either American Rifleman, Field and Stream, Outdoor life etc.. before I go to bed. I spend 1-2 hours on XD Talk, AR-15.com, Rimfire.com, SKSBoards, and Survival Blog. I try to shoot every weekend and hunt as much as possible. I also enjoy hiking and fishing when I am not hunting or shooting. I also spend a lot of time in walmart, sporting good stores large and small. and every local gun show. So I guess I spend a ridiculous amount of time around guns.

Between, 1-2 hours. Mostly XDtalk. Haven't gone to the range in awhile
 . I'm married but when I go to the range, the wife insists that she comes too!
