Smile The 600$ question

OK, so most of us will be recieving the 600$ rebate from good old uncle Sam. I for one will be spending mine on a new firearm. Simple poll of what handgun should I buy?

It would be helpful to know what you already own in this area before offering an opinion.

Sorry you guys were so quick I didn't have a chance to get the choices in the poll up before you replied . Had a friend's bachelor party tonight so I'm a bit sloooooooooooooow!

I'm honestly undecided so I will go with what the poll results are. I currently own a Taurus Raging Bull .454, a Ruger SP101 in .357, a Taurus Ultra Lite in .44 Mag & a PT911 in 9mm obviously.

In that case I voted for the plinker Ruger, but I don't reload so I guess that option didn't work 100%. It's my next on the list due to ammo pricing.

Good point XDC, once you get into shooting rounds that are 1.50/shot reloading is your only hope. If ammo prices have got you down maybe it's time to start rolling your own, It's fun and self gratifying.

eta: didn't see the poll.

Get the MKIII and the reloading equipment. The reloading equipment will pay for itself and the Ruger MKIII, but if there was an option to get the Taurus 1911 and the reloading equipment I would've picked that.

With the ammo prices where they are right now (and no chance of them ever coming down) I'd go with the Mark III and reloading equipment. You'll easily save enough reloading to buy the Tactical within a few months.
