The striker, striker safety, and sear wore down causing malfunctions at around 15-20K rounds (modded gun). Striker roll pin broke at around 8-10K rounds.

Nothing here.
500+ rnds of WWB thru my XD9sc w/no problems.  Cleaning note: LOTS of little yellow flakes through-out the gun that looks like brass.....but I was informed it was simply unburned powder residue from WWB mixing with the gun lube I use (remington).

I had 1 failure to fire (bad ammo) and, spring, you've seen mine have a few failure to eject's (not sure what the cause was there. I think it was my mag. Since I switched them, I haven't had any issues)
