It can be ordered without the last 2 things. What I'd heard was that people complained about not being able to use old mags and holsters with the SF so they put the regular rail/release on them.

Apple or Cherry, Please!

Actually, I just shot a friends new Wilson Combact CQB and if I EVER wanted a 45, I'd save up and get one of those. The first time I shot it, I had a 6 shot group at 15 yards that I could cover with my snuff can. Remember I'm a guy that has less than 2,000 rounds through handguns total. But being the poor guy that I am, I'll stick to the XD40's. BTW, when I mentioned this to my wife, she said "Are you out of your freaking mind?!" LOL

Of the two you listed, I would go with the M&P - personal preference after shooting both. I would have voted for the HK45 if it was listed though.

Tell us more about the comparison. I'm an MP fan but haven't fired the 45. I have fired the 21SF though.

You forgot the 1911 option.

If I were in the market for a .45, I'd go Kimber or Sig.

well they already stole my thunder, but i will say it again..if you want a .45 go 1911. Lots of people will disagree, but they just feel like home when you shoot them.
