Do you think the barrel break in process actually helps? (shoot one shot clean it shoot another clean and repeat)

I hadn't heard of barrel break in until i was over 2,000rounds down my gun

oh well.

don't think it's necessary considering the accuracy of tac .45

I'm around 3200 rounds in this is the first I've heard about it. That's interesting. What's it supposed to help? Accuracy?

the only thing to break in is the springs in those magazines sometimes. but as far as the barrel is concerned....notta.

With a rifle maybe but not worth the effort with a pistol.

If you reload, you can try this. I got my kit from MidwayUSA, it will only set you back around $35. Less time consuming than the process you mentioned.
